Marking Chemistry’s shift from an established design and branding firm to an ‘Ideas Company,’ Geert van Kuijk joined the team in January as Business Creativity and Innovations Consultant.
A former brand consultant with FutureBrand, Geert brings onboard more than 9 years of strategic branding and marketing consultancy experience. Together with Creative Director, Bassam Jabry, Geert will be responsible for all strategic aspects of Chemistry’s business creativity and innovation programmes for local and international organisations, and he will also take the lead in business development in this field. |

Geert has worked with an array of clients in F&B, oil and gas, personal care, distribution, hospitality, publishing, sports and fashion throughout Asia and Europe. He is frequently asked to speak at business associations and universities and was a lecturer on ‘Strategic Brand Management’ at Singapore’s Nanyang Polytechnic School of Business.
“It's a great time to join Chemistry,” says Geert. “When you band together a group of passionate, multi-disciplined people, each with a unique set of skills, you're in a great position to custom-build solutions for clients, regardless of the industry they are in”.
Incidentally, Geert has previously worked with Chemistry as a freelance consultant on a number of exciting innovation projects for Siemens Mobile, Sendo (UK) as well as the Industrial Product Division of the Ministry of Commerce of Thailand.
Adds Bassam, “I have to say I am really excited that Geert is now part of Chemistry. Having worked with Geert on several occasions, I am looking forward to seeing how his energy and charisma is going to supercharge how we deliver projects for our clients". |
