John started in primary school, having many a sketch book confiscated for drawing in class. That same passion was later appropriately channeled into scoring an A for art in the 'O' levels. Brought up in the practical and sterile environment of Singapore, John was always viewed upon as an idealist enrolling into the then little known industrial design program at the National University of Singapore. Having spent the greater part of a year in the Netherlands for a design exchange at the Technical University Eindhoven., He emerged back in Singapore with greater passion, identity and sensitivity for design.
In John’s 3 years of experience, he has worked with diverse businesses, developing products in the consumer electronics, lifestyle and fashion industry. His creative input has manifested itself in 4 design awards and various successful products from Dell, Motorola and Philips. |
