Chemistry’s involvement in brand-related design starts with a great strategic approach and continues with a successfully executed and attractive brand identity or an innovative product design – but does not stop there. Many clients have approached Chemistry to extend their brand image into a working or retail environment. Although most businesses may not go further than mounting corporate posters on office walls, some have gone further to create a look and feel for their interior that connects with their unique brand expression.

Brand guidelines play an important role in creating a unique work space that consistently reflects the brand and is immediately recognisable to employees and visiting clients. Chemistry recreated a working environment for LogicaCMG and mBlox and a retail space for Wild Bunch, establishing stronger connections to their overall brand expression.

The world’s largest mobile transaction network approached Chemistry to transform a section of their Singapore office space into a designated area for one of their key service teams focusing on Network Monitoring.

The company’s business management activities were located in a typical office environment that fell short in reflecting the sophistication and advanced technological aspects of their global business.

To create a more representative environment, Chemistry conceptualized distinctive shape for the section, giving it a unique character while establishing a natural separation from the rest of the office space without the need to put up additional walls and therefore isolate the Network Monitoring team.

The final result is a soothing yet colourful  and cheery working space in an open oval section that reflects mBlox’s brand image. The space carries the main brand colours in the dynamic visuals on the partitions and also features the mBlox logo. This differentiated section, gives mBlox the  opportunity to showcase this space in communication material specially created for mBlox customers and business partners.

 
WB&CO Organic Vegetable Juice

WB&CO is fast becoming one of the rising stars in the F&B industry, delivering the inherent qualities of organic vegetables in the form of 100% organic pure cold-pressed juice.

Positioned as a no-compromise premium brand, the team at WB&CO tasked Chemistry with translating their clearly articulated brand positioning into an F&B space that would expand their product offering beyond just fresh juices into other organic foods. The challenge was to translate an intangible brand proposition into an immersive and tangible retail experience.

Chemistry’s space concept focused on the use of real and natural materials, without conveying the ‘country farm’ look usually associated with natural health foods. The key message for WB&CO is their focus on specially selected organic vegetables. To bring this across, the team deliberately chose to turn the typical F&B layout on its head, by bringing the ‘back of the house’ to the front and displaying the stored produce in a visible cold room constructed from glass walls and steel supports. The result is the creation of a contemporary space that actually sits back to let the produce do the talking!
