SPRING Singapore and IE Singapore have appointed Chemistry as one of only six Design Facilitators to carry out Phase 1 of the Design Engage Programme.

Design Thinking, the application of creative tools and methodologies to solve complex business challenges, has been proven to yield outstanding results for businesses looking to grow to the next level.

Elements of collaborative team work, consumer insights and creativity tools come together to help generate new breakthrough ideas. These ideas are then filtered and developed into clearly defined roadmaps and business opportunities that SMEs can use to kick start their growth.

Chemistry’s team of consultants work intensively with clients to combine the power of critical and creative thinking in key areas of their business such as new product development, service solutions and related aspects in marketing or even improvement of systems and processes.

The programme

The Design Engage Programme is part of the 3-year S$12 million Design for Enterprises initiative launched on 26 November 2008 jointly developed by DesignSingapore Council, SPRING Singapore and International Enterprises (IE) Singapore.

The 3 key programmes under Design for Enterprises are Design Touch, Design Engage and Design Excel. These programmes help Singapore-based enterprises progress through various levels of design capabilities: from learning about the value of design to the integration of design into business strategies. The programme grants eligible businesses funding of up to 70% of the businesses’ design costs.
