Bassam's passion is in generating creative ideas that solve real world problems. With his professional training combining both art and science, he has the ability to take multifaceted challenges and restructure them in a coherent format that has helped clients innovate and deliver award winning designs to market.

Previously, in his 5 years at Philips Design, he held a dual role of Design Account Manager and Senior Design Consultant, managing diverse accounts, including Philips Lighting, Domestic Appliances and lastly Mobile Communications. Bassam joined Chemistry in 2002, where he is now responsible for leading and art directing all Product Design projects.

His abilities to build rapport and trust among diverse people in different locations, has led to establishing strategic relationships with clients such as Dell, Philips, Motorola, Siemens and the Singapore Design Council among others. Bassam holds a 1st Class BSc(Hons) in Product Design from Brunel University, UK.
