Chemistry’s Design Director Karin Aue was invited to speak at the kick-off event of GoGlobal 2018.

The event was aimed at providing the student teams with an understanding of Singapore’s design industry. In addition, students could gain rich insights into the different challenges faced by the creative industry..

This year’s brief revolves around ‘Designing for our Future Selves’. It aims to design in response to 4 key areas within Singapore – Housing and Communities; Mobility and Transport; Leisure and Learning; and lastly, Well-being and Healthcare.

Well-versed in each of these topics, Karin shared more about the VScan Access case studies with the students, the groundbreaking ultrasound device that won the President’s Design Award 2016.
