During the 7th March talk at the NUS Engineering Auditorium, Bassam shared with NUS students his experience working with GE Healthcare and its global partners in the design and development of the Vscan Access. He shared about how the teams worked together to gather rich insights from end users. In addition, he talked about how to translate data into an intuitive solution. One that would help midwives in developing countries provide better access to healthcare. The project went on to win the President’s Design Award 2016.
